ACT II THRIFT SHOP
Lorton Community Action Center operates the Act ll Thrift Shop which is located at 9506 Richmond Highway (Rt. 1) in the Williamsburg Square Shopping Center.
The Thrift Shop serves two purposes. Sales from the shop generate income for the work of LCAC and the shop also serves our client families. Families are given vouchers to the Thrift Shop with which they may "buy" needed clothing and household items.
Donations to the shop are welcome during store hours, but please call first to be sure space is available. (703) 339-8611. Donations are tax deductible according to IRS regulations. A tax receipt will be provided at time of donation, upon request.
Everyone is welcome to shop at the Thrift Shop. We invite to you stop by and check out the bargains!

LCAC welcomes donations of:
- Clean, Gently Used Clothing & Accessories
- Artwork and collectibles
- Jewelry
- Housewares, including china and glassware
- Games with all their parts
- Shoes in Almost New Condition
- Tools
- Books
- Kitchen Items & Small Appliances
- DVD's, CD's, Videos
- Linens, Draperies (no blinds or shades please)
- Luggage
- Seasonal Decorations
- Furniture in good condition, including upholstered furniture, tables, lamps, mirrors and rugs
- Sporting Goods and bicycles (no skis)

Items we CANNOT accept:
- Large Appliances
- Humidifiers, Dehumidifiers, Vaporizers
- Large Exercise Equipment
- Mattresses & Box Springs (Mattresses and box springs that are clean and in good condition
are accepted by LCAC's client services location.
- Paint, Toilets, Sinks
- Computers, copiers and items related to computers
- Typewriters
- Crutches
- Torn or Soiled Clothing
- Any items that are broken or do not work
- Broken or Soiled Furniture
- Firearms
- Military Uniforms
- Medical equipment and potty chairs
- Stereo equipment
